The Court of Robert and Isobel
On a beautiful spring day, Their Excellencies, Robert and Isobel, Baron and Baroness of Lochmere did hold court. The court was held on April 20, 2002 at the Night on Board event.
Their Excellencies called forth Lord Cynwrig Ap Rhys (Kennyth Pyke). Lord Cyrwrig thanked the participants of the rapier tournament. Their Excellencies presented each ship with a memento of the days fighting for their banners. Their Excellencies awarded a unit citation to the Ship of Fools for winning the rapier tournament.
Their Excellencies requested the presence of Master Reynard de la Rochefoucauld. Master Reynard was thanked for his service as the outgoing Baronial Rapier Champion.
Their Excellencies summoned Lady Lisette la Rouxe. Lady Lisette was invited to join the baronial entourage as the new Rapier Champion. She did graciously accept this honor.
Their Excellencies requested the presence of Lady Medb ingen Brain. Lady Medb called forth the children to make a presentation to their Excellencies.
Their Excellencies called forth Baroness Arianna Morgan. Baroness Arianna announced the successful high bidders of the Silent Auction.
Their Excellencies requested the presence of Lady Lisette la Rouxe. Lady Lisette was awarded the Order of the Eagle’s Feather for her excellence in music.
Their Excellencies summoned Lord Robert de Clifton and Lady Máire inghean Dhúncháin mhic Oisdealbhaigh. Lord Robert and Lady Máire were inducted into the Order of the Blasted Oak.
Their Excellencies called forth Lord Jehan Yves de Chateau Thiery. Lord Jehan Yves announced the winners of the brewing competition.
