The Court of Dominick and Margery
Their Excellencies opened Their court and gave greeting to the populace. Thanks was given to all in attendance and further to all who made the event possible.
Baron Ælfgar Greyseas was made to come into the Baronial presence. Upon the revelation of Their Excellencies’ cunning inclusion of Baron Ælfgar in the Baronial bardic competition, he was announced as the People’s Choice as winner of the competition.
Their Excellencies summoned Lady Christiana Iarina Chaykinaia into Their presence. Lady Christiana was thanked for her service to the Barony as reigning Arts & Sciences Champion. Doña Rita Tacoronte was then summoned into Their Excellencies’ presence and asked to serve as the new Arts & Sciences champion. Doña Rita accepted the role.
Lord Robert Runewald, Baronial Seneschal, was called into the presence of Their Excellencies. Lord Robert then requested that Padre Quinto Formaggio be called into Court. Lord Robert announced that he would be stepping down as Seneschal and that Padre would assume the role.
Their Excellencies summoned Lady Isolde de Crosthwaite into Their presence. Their Excellencies paid Lady Isolde fair complements and strongly entreated her to remember her true baronial home.* They then made her a Companion of the Order of the Eagle’s Feather.
Their Excellencies summoned Dominus Marcus Artorius Vindex into Their presence. After noting Dominus Artorius’ absenteeism—no doubt due to his ardent service of the Barony—Their Excellencies saw fit to make him a Companion of the Order of the Blasted Oak.
Their Excellencies summoned Mistress Eibhlín níc’Raghailligh into Their presence. Mistress Eibhlín was thanked for her service to the Barony including preparing the feast for the day’s event under adverse circumstances. For her efforts, Mistress Eibhlín was awarded the Award of Excellence.
There being no further business, so closed the court of Dominick and Margery, Baron and Baroness Lochmere.
Master Corun MacAnndra bore witness to Lochmere’s court.
