Awarded Orders

The following are Orders of merit for the Barony of Lochmere. Click on the title of the Order to see a list of current recipients.

The Order of the Blasted Oak

The Blasted Oak is given by the baron and baroness to members of the barony who have exhibited exemplary service to the barony.

The Order of the Eagle’s Feather

The Eagle’s Feather is given by the baron and baroness to members of the barony who have achieved excellence in the arts and sciences.

The Order of the Crab’s Claw

The Crab’s Claw is given by the baron and baroness to members of the barony who have distinguished themselves by excelling in the martial arts.

The Order of the Golden Arrow

The Golden Arrow is given by the baron and baroness to members of the barony who have exhibited excellence in archery and archery instruction.

The Order of the Silver Tortoise

Presented for overwhelming service and courtesy and what it means to be of Lochmere.

The Order of the Sable Branch

Awarded to new to Lochmere individuals in consideration of their service and contributions to the Barony.

The Order of the Azure Heron

The award given to those who are friends of Lochmere and contribute though living outside of her borders.

The Order of the Crab and U-Haul

The Order of the Crab and U-Haul includes those individuals who have assisted the Barony by driving the Pennsic truck.

Repeatable Awards

These awards may be awarded multiple times to the same individual.

The Award of Courtesy of Lochmere

Individuals are inducted into the Order of Courtesy by the Baron or Baroness in recognition of uncommon courtesy.

The Award of Excellence of Lochmere

The Award of Excellence is given by the Baron or Baroness to recognize an individual or group whose actions have enriched the Barony.

The Award of the Alerion

Youth and children’s award (under 18) for service and participation in the Barony.
