Greetings all. What follows are the updates made to the site this morning. The biggest update is that the preliminary versions of the Barony of Lochmere Website Handbook are available from our Documents page.

The following updates are in chronological (mostly) order.

• Added Alric, Arianna, and Lisette to the Officers page as champions.
• Added Erich and Dealla to the Officers page as Knight Marshal and Archery Marshal respectively. Currently only Erich’s SCA name is listed as I do not have written authorization to publish any other details.
• Removed Lady Maire as Deputy Herald by request. I have not added any of the half-dozen heralds in the Barony as Deputy.
• I added the flyer for Baronial Birthday.
• I linked the flyer for Baronial Birthday to the Front Page, the Events Page, and made a News Post about it.
• As announced at the Business Meeting, I have hidden the forums. They have not been removed completely as I’m still trying to figure out a way to convert them over to BBPress. Interested users can find them here if you’re feeling nostalgic.
• In conjunction with hiding the forums, I changed the site registration method to be via WordPress rather than the forums. If you click on the link on our Welcome page now, it will take you to the new method. If you are already registered for the WordPress side of the site (not just the forums), you do not need to re-register.
• I updated the Activities, General Activities, Martial Activities, and A&S Activities pages to show Combo Nights, the correct location for Combo nights, and the correct location for LVMG.

Known Issues

• As previously mentioned, Herr Erich’s information is very sparse until he provides me with authorization to publish information.
• I sent an e-mail to Frau Lena requesting permission to post her e-mail address for feast contact on the Baronial Birthday page.
• The information about Combo Nights may be less than completely accurate, but I’ve never really been told it directly, so….
• I sent an e-mail off to Dealla requesting contact information for the homeowner for Archery practice. Until I receive permission to publish the address…I don’t even know where it is.
• I need to get in touch with Lady Morigrue so I can get permission to post her modern name for the Baronial Birthday reservations. Right now…I’m waiting on Facebook.
• The OP is tragically out of date, but I haven’t got the energy to work on the site anymore tonight/this morning.

Lastly, as mentioned at the last Business Meeting, I am still looking for Deputies. A Deputy would not be expected to take on the entire load of managing the website. Mostly, I need someone to help with the administrivia that changes every month. Also, there are openings for specialist deputies (databases, graphics, php, etc.) for stuff that I might not be good at.
