Without each and every one of you, our Society would not be so wonderful, diverse, spirited, and talented. Please join the Barony of Lochmere as we celebrate its birthday by welcoming and honoring everyman (woman and child).

Documentation as always, is encouraged but not mandatory for participation.

For the children, a workshop will be held for the making of masks, after which they will be put on display in the arts and science area for all to admire.

As always, a Novice Competition will also be held for any new skill learned in the last year as well as an Open Display area.

All are welcome and encouraged to display their fabulous items. Questions may be addressed to Lady Lisette la Rouxe (Jennifer Fischer) at moas (at) lochmere (dot) atlantia (dot) sca (dot) org.

Entertainment

The Barony of Lochmere is proud to present the 15th Century play Everyman. The premise of Everyman is that the good and evil deeds of one’s life will be tallied by God after death, as in a ledger book. This play is an allegorical accounting of the life of Everyman, who represents all mankind and who during the play tries to convince other characters to accompany him in the hope of improving his account.

After the evening’s feast, attendees are encouraged to stay for dancing and conversation.

Feast

To complete our day-long celebration of Everyman, Herr Erich von Oßenbrugge and Frau Lena von Oßenbrugge under the tutelage of Mistress Keilyn FitzWarren are preparing a sumptuous feast.
