Membership

While membership in the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) is not required for you to participate in baronial activities, we highly recommended it for the following reasons.

You will receive the Kingdom of Atlantia newsletter, The Acorn, which will provide information on other events in the Kingdom. You can also receive the quarterly magazine, Tournaments Illuminated, which contains articles on various subjects of interest to those in the SCA.

Your membership will allow you to participate fully in SCA activities such as fighting or holding a local office, and you will officially be included on our Barony rolls, which allows you to submit your official opinion in any baronial pollings.

There is also a $5 discount when you attend SCA events if you are a member.

SCA membership is available to you for $45 a year. Student memberships and family discounts are also available. Just visit the SCA Home Page and follow the instructions to become a member.

If you still have questions, e-mail our Baronial Chatelain, Lady Avice Claremond at Avice (dot) Claremond (at) Gmail (dot) com. She is here to help you get the most out of your SCA experience.
