11th Century Heraldic Silk Banner

Entrant Name: Lady Adelaide Half Pint

Entry Description: I made this silk banner as a gift to celebrate Ieslda de Narbonne’s induction into the Order of the Laurel, the highest award of recognition in the arts within the SCA. I based the design off of 11th century heraldic banners.

16th c. Doublet & Breeches

Entrant Name: Ishmael Stedfast Reed, Provost

Entry Description: An ensemble of doublet and breeches! Designed to be more casual and work-a-day than the usual highly-structured style of the time, these will also be hardy and hard-wearing for years and years of fighting!

15th Century Ambry (Work in Progress)

Entrant Name: Duke Galmr Ingolfsson

Entrant Description: A late 15th Century Ambry from England. It was used for the storing of food and dry goods. A forerunner of the kitchen cabinet it has distinctive gothic pieced carving to decorate the ventilation holes. This one is made from walnut and is 43″H x 40″W x 17″D.
